Browsable pricing

How Browsable meters prebuilt and generated scraping APIs, what its public pricing leaves open, and which teams fit.

Available volumes

Every available option was priced in advance from published vendor rules. Changing a control only switches between those checked options; nothing is sent anywhere and no account is needed.

    105,263 requests

Browsable bills failed fetches, so a 5% failure rate is billed work.

Bars share one linear scale across the 3 counted stages, so a multiplier shows as length. Units differ by stage and are labelled. Cash is not on that scale.

What Browsable does not publish

What Browsable is

Browsable turns a target website into a reusable scraping API and also maintains prebuilt APIs for named sites. Its homepage shows a URL-driven creation flow, a catalog of site-specific endpoints, and ways for coding agents to create and run scrapers through a CLI or MCP server. It is aimed at developers and agent builders who want an API contract rather than a browser recording as the main output. Sources: Browsable and Browsable documentation, retrieved 2026-07-27.

Browse AI, Apify, and ScrapingBee are the nearest named competitors, but they start from different abstractions. Browse AI centers on recording a task into a visual robot, Apify runs marketplace or custom Actors on a metered cloud platform, and ScrapingBee exposes a general HTML API plus dedicated structured endpoints. Browsable’s narrower distinction is that it can generate a reusable scraper from a URL while also offering prebuilt site APIs under the same credit account. How billing works

One unit is a credit. A basic call to a prebuilt API uses one credit, but the pricing page says that collecting more data can use more. Creating an AI-generated scraper uses 80 credits, and each later call to that generated scraper uses 10. Monthly plans include a credit balance, and requests continue at the plan’s overage rate after that balance is exhausted. The buying mistake to avoid is treating every API request as one credit. That assumption misses both variable prebuilt-endpoint consumption and the separate creation charge for a generated scraper. Source: Browsable pricing, retrieved 2026-07-27.

What Browsable does not publish

  • An endpoint-by-endpoint rule for how much “more data collected” increases a prebuilt API call beyond its basic credit cost. Source reviewed: Browsable pricing, retrieved 2026-07-27.
  • Whether a failed, blocked, or unusable API response consumes credits. Sources reviewed: Browsable pricing and Browsable documentation, retrieved 2026-07-27.
  • Numeric concurrency limits, an unused-credit rollover rule, or annual self-serve pricing. Source reviewed: Browsable pricing, retrieved 2026-07-27.
  • The duration of the free trial or whether starting it requires a payment card. Source reviewed: Browsable pricing, retrieved 2026-07-27.

Who it suits

Browsable suits a developer or agent team that wants a generated API for a specific site, can test its real credit consumption, and values a ready-made endpoint catalog. It does not suit a nontechnical operations team that specifically wants a visual recorder, a team seeking a broad runtime marketplace for arbitrary scraping programs, or procurement that needs a fully deterministic cost before testing each endpoint. Those exclusions follow from the product interface and the unpublished variable-credit and failure-billing rules, not from a claim about output quality. Answer

Under the disclosed conservative assumptions, Browsable costs $249.00 for 100,000 JavaScript-rendered pages on its Business offer. It is excluded from cheapest claims until the missing billing rule is published.
