Scavio pricing
How Scavio meters multi-platform search, where its pricing and terms disagree, and which agent workloads fit.
one default result set; no fan-out
Fixed for this page; volume is the control.Every available option was priced in advance from published vendor rules. Changing a control only switches between those checked options; nothing is sent anywhere and no account is needed.

What Scavio counts
What you pay
Successes you want
100,000 standard searches
Your stated workload. Every vendor on this site is priced against this same number.
- ÷ 1
Attempts you are billed for
100,000 standard searches
Scavio bills failed fetches. This workload assumes none fail, so nothing is added here.
- × 1
What the meter counts
100,000 credits
One attempt is one billed unit for this workload.

Metered cash this month
$500.00 /mo
Pay as you go. Cheapest of every eligible purchase option, not the first plan that fits.
Bars share one linear scale across the 3 counted stages, so a multiplier shows as length. Units differ by stage and are labelled. Cash is not on that scale.
100,000 standard searches → 100,000 credit → Pay as you go $500.00/mo = $5.00 per 1,000 searches

Same 100,000 standard search calls with one default-depth result set per call, ranked by what you would actually be billed. Unknown totals never enter the numeric order.

What consumes a unit
This is where a bill actually grows. One operation is not one billed unit, and the multiplier is published here rather than on the pricing page.
| Operation | Costs | Per | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| search.query | 1 credit | request | source |
| search.deep | 2 credit | request | source |
What Scavio does not publish
- Failure billing is not published.
- The pricing page does not publish additional-credit pricing for the Project tier.
What Scavio is
Scavio is a multi-platform search API for agents and developers. Its public product covers Google, Amazon, YouTube, Walmart, Reddit, TikTok, and Instagram, returning structured JSON through API and MCP integrations. It is for applications that need platform-specific search results without integrating each source separately. Sources: Scavio and Scavio pricing, retrieved 2026-07-27.
Tavily, SerpApi, and Exa are the nearest named competitors. Tavily centers on agent web search, extraction, crawl, and research; SerpApi exposes structured search-engine endpoints; Exa combines web search with page contents, crawling, and research products. Scavio’s narrower distinction is one account for web search plus e-commerce, video, and community platforms, rather than a web-only retrieval layer or a broad catalog of search engines. How billing works
One unit is a credit. The pricing page says light requests use one credit and data-heavier requests use two, naming a Reddit post with its full comment tree as the heavier example. A monthly Project allowance and pay-as-you-go credits fund the same endpoint family, while plan limits also cap requests per second. The buying mistake to avoid is assuming every request always uses one credit because the terms define a credit that way. The live pricing page publishes a two-credit case, so a buyer should obtain the endpoint table before forecasting. Sources: Scavio pricing and Scavio terms, retrieved 2026-07-27.
What Scavio does not publish consistently
- One authoritative request-meter rule. The pricing page says requests can use one or two credits, while the terms say each API request consumes one credit. Sources reviewed: Scavio pricing and Scavio terms, retrieved 2026-07-27.
- One authoritative free allowance. The pricing page describes 50 one-time signup credits, while the terms describe 250 credits per month. Sources reviewed: Scavio pricing and Scavio terms, retrieved 2026-07-27.
- A public list on the pricing page that identifies every one-credit and two-credit endpoint. Source reviewed: Scavio pricing, retrieved 2026-07-27.
- Whether failed API requests consume credits. Sources reviewed: Scavio pricing and Scavio terms, retrieved 2026-07-27.
Who it suits
Scavio suits an agent team whose workload spans several of its supported platforms and that can validate endpoint consumption in the dashboard before committing volume. It does not suit procurement that requires the pricing page and contract terms to reconcile without clarification, or a workload that needs a published failure-billing rule. The reason is the unresolved public disagreement over both credit consumption and the free allowance. Sources: Scavio pricing and Scavio terms, retrieved 2026-07-27.
