Every available option was priced in advance from published vendor rules. Changing a control only switches between those checked options; nothing is sent anywhere and no account is needed.

Linkup does not bill failed fetches, so failures cost nothing here.

Fast or Standard Search Results. Cheapest of every eligible purchase option, not the first plan that fits.

Bars share one linear scale across the 3 counted stages, so a multiplier shows as length. Units differ by stage and are labelled. Cash is not on that scale.

Product scope and returned result

Linkup Search API accepts a search request and can return raw searchResults, a sourcedAnswer, or a caller-defined structured output. Search also has fast or standard depth and deep depth. The sourced and structured paths invoke an LLM to compose or shape the output, while raw results preserve the search-result form. Linkup’s platform also has Fetch, Research, Tasks, and a closed-beta Extract endpoint, but those adjacent endpoint prices are not the Search product meters stored in this record. (Linkup pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26).

This scope lets a buyer choose between ranked retrieval and a source-backed shaped response without switching vendors. It is not equivalent to a remote browser session, and deep search is a different billable request class rather than an automatic feature on every standard call. (Linkup pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26).

Every recorded meter

Linkup uses replacement request meters selected by depth and outputType:

  • Fast or standard raw search results cost $0.005 per request. (Linkup pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26).
  • Fast or standard sourced or structured output costs $0.006 per request, a $0.001 premium over raw results. (Linkup pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26).
  • Deep raw search results cost $0.05 per request. (Linkup pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26).
  • Deep sourced or structured output costs $0.055 per request, a $0.005 premium over deep raw results. (Linkup pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26).

The record also preserves the x402 payment rule: it uses the same request rates but applies a $0.01 minimum per request. With an API-key credit balance, no credit is deducted for missing parameters, internal errors, or responses with no relevant result. (Linkup pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26).

Contract path, minimum, and trial

The normal path is self-serve. Signing up with a professional email automatically adds $20 in credit, and eligible accounts are topped back up to $20 each month. Buyers can add funds in the app’s Billing section. The page does not publish a minimum top-up for normal Search API billing; x402 can be used without an account but has the $0.01 per-request minimum. (Linkup pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26).

Custom needs go to support@linkup.so or the linked sales calendar. A buyer should identify monthly call volume, standard versus deep mix, raw versus sourced or structured output, required result schema, rate limits, and payment route. Public rate limits and paid-credit expiration are not stated on the reviewed page, so those should be asked directly. (Linkup pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26).

Price status and why there is no monthly plan price

Linkup does publish prices, but as deductions from a prepaid balance and, optionally, per-request x402 settlement. The record has no fixed monthly subscription because the buyer pays by successful request. (Linkup pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26).

Priced alternatives

  • Tavily Project starts at $30 per month. (Tavily API credits, retrieved 2026-07-26).
  • Olostep Starter starts at $9 per month. (Olostep, retrieved 2026-07-26).
  • Firecrawl Hobby starts at $16 per month when billed annually, or $19 month to month. (Firecrawl pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26).
