How billing works

One unit is a credit. A basic datacenter-proxy request uses one credit, adding JavaScript rendering replaces that with five, using premium residential proxies without rendering uses ten, and combining premium proxies with rendering uses twenty-five. These are alternative total request costs, not additive feature charges. HTTP 200 and 404 responses are billed; the documented 400, 401, 403, 429, and 500 responses are not. Who it suits

ScrapeOwl suits a developer who can classify requests into basic, rendered, premium-proxy, or rendered premium-proxy modes and wants optional element extraction in the same API. It does not suit procurement that requires public overage, rollover, expiry, annual, or custom-plan rates, and it needs extra care when a missing page is an unacceptable result because that 404 still consumes credits.
