SERP API pricing
All 24 products in this category, priced for 100,000 standard search calls with one default-depth result set per call. A comparison that omits vendors is not a comparison, so bounded, quote-only, and incompatible public meters remain visible.

What this price order can and cannot say
Only rechecked exact bills are ranked. An older price or a product with an unpublished total cannot be placed in a price order without inventing the missing figure, so it stays visible and stays unranked.

What this category cannot answer. 5 of 24 products do not resolve to a checkable bill for this workload.
1 publish a floor without a total (≥). 1 price this volume by conversation (?). 3 publish no rate for this kind of work (∅).
Those counts are part of the answer. Every product in this category stays visible above.
What a SERP API is
A SERP API accepts a search-engine query and returns search results or a parsed search-engine results page. The defining job is retrieval from a named engine, often with parameters for market, language, location, device, page, or result type. It is not simply a general scraper pointed at a search URL. SerpApi sells search plans under request allowances, while DataForSEO separates live and queued SERP delivery and target-specific task pricing. (SerpApi pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26; DataForSEO SERP API pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26.)
The nearest neighbour is a web search API. Both begin with a query, but a SERP API is appropriate when the buyer needs the output of a particular search engine, including engine-specific result types and request parameters. A web search API is designed as its own discovery or grounding product and can return a provider-defined result set rather than a representation of a named engine’s page. Brave Search API describes access to its own search service, while SerpApi sells search requests as its plan unit. (Brave Search API, retrieved 2026-07-26; SerpApi pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26.)
A general scraping API is broader because its contract begins with an arbitrary target URL. Some scraping products publish an explicit Google or search-target meter, so they belong in this category as well as the scraping category. Their generic page-request price is not a substitute for the dedicated search meter. ScraperAPI, for example, documents a target-specific Google credit cost distinct from a basic request, and ScrapingDog publishes separate product paths for search results and general web scraping. (ScraperAPI credit documentation, retrieved 2026-07-26; ScrapingDog pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26.)
What this category bills on
The clearest meter is one search request or query. A plan may include a monthly search allowance, charge per request, or translate a query into credits. Location depth, pagination, engine, device, or enhanced result types may consume additional units or invoke a different rate. A buyer should count every requested page, market, device, and refresh as a distinct query unless the selected contract explicitly bundles them. (SerpApi pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26; SearchApi.io pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26; Zenserp pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26.)
Some vendors bill per returned result rather than per query. That meter cannot be converted into call volume without assuming how many billable results each request returns. Other vendors publish credit allowances but do not publish a usable billing unit for search.query. Those products still belong to the category because they sell SERP retrieval, but the table leaves their call-volume bill uncomputed. (Oxylabs SERP Scraper API, retrieved 2026-07-26; Scale SERP, retrieved 2026-07-26; SerpWow, retrieved 2026-07-26.)
The comparison workload
The table uses one standard Google search API call as the billable unit and shows every product carrying serp-api in the dataset. A native SERP product uses its published query meter. A broader scraper is calculated only from an explicit search or Google-target meter, never from its generic page-request meter. The workload excludes additional pages, location fan-out, device variants, screenshots, deep modes, and generated summaries. A not-computable row records a meter mismatch or an unpublished billing unit, not an omitted competitor. (Scraping API Prices methodology, retrieved 2026-07-26.)
Rows are ordered by evidence state before bill size: assumption-free calculations, assumption-dependent calculations, published lower bounds, quote-required rows, and rows whose public meter does not fit the workload. Affiliate data does not affect inclusion or order. An assumption-marked row is a question to resolve with the vendor, not evidence for a cheapest claim. (Scraping API Prices methodology, retrieved 2026-07-26.)
What can change the bill
Engine, country, language, location precision, pagination, device, result type, delivery mode, and freshness can change the request count or applicable meter. A single tracked keyword becomes several billable searches when it is repeated across markets, devices, pages, and refresh times. Result-based contracts add another dimension because the returned result count, not only the call count, drives usage. (DataForSEO SERP API pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26; SerpApi pricing, retrieved 2026-07-26; Oxylabs SERP Scraper API, retrieved 2026-07-26.)
Products whose public meter does not produce this table’s bill
- Oxylabs SERP Scraper API retrieves SERP data and publishes a successful-result meter. A call-volume bill requires a result-count assumption, so the product remains uncomputed here; the product page is the route to the public offer or custom contract. Retrieved 2026-07-26.
- Oxylabs Web Scraper API retrieves target-specific web results and includes a Google result meter. Its per-result and target-dependent contract cannot be converted to calls without a result-count assumption; the pricing page is the contract path. Retrieved 2026-07-26.
- Decodo Web Scraping API provides successful-result web retrieval with standard or premium proxies and optional rendering. The stored public record has no dedicated query or Google-target billing unit, so the pricing page is the route for confirmation or a custom volume agreement. Retrieved 2026-07-26.
- Scale SERP provides SERP queries under monthly credits and overage. The public record does not expose a usable query billing unit, and its product page is the route to the entry tier or a custom enterprise plan. Retrieved 2026-07-26.
- SerpWow provides SERP queries under monthly credits and overage. The public record does not expose a usable query billing unit, and its product page is the route to the entry tier or a custom enterprise plan. Retrieved 2026-07-26.
- ValueSERP provides search retrieval under a monthly credit allowance. The public page does not fully reconcile its plan and per-credit claims, so the row remains uncomputed; the product page is the route to the entry tier or higher-volume terms. Retrieved 2026-07-26.
How to use the comparison
Define the required engine, markets, languages, devices, pages, result types, and refresh cadence before comparing rows. Multiply those dimensions into the actual query count, then verify whether the contract bills calls, credits, or results. Check the returned schema and permitted use separately from the meter. Treat not-computable as a procurement question and quote-required as a contract path, not as a reason to remove the product.
