Browserbase alternatives
The first 12 comparable products for 100,000 standard search calls with one default-depth result set per call. Sorted by the published bill and amount, never by who pays us; the full category route includes every relevant product.
The datum line
The substitution
Browserbase has no exact bill for this workload, so the deltas below are absent rather than estimated. Each alternative still carries its own published figure and state.
Priced alternatives

This page compares managed browser time. Search, Fetch, Extract, agent execution, proxy traffic, and CAPTCHA work remain separate because the same account can meter them independently.
The engine checks the cloud-browser job before calculating a bill. Alternatives with incomparable or unpublished time costs stay visible outside the ranked exact-price group.
The condition that decides it
Separate session time from the rest of the Browserbase account. Browserbase applies a one-minute minimum, allows sessions up to six hours, and keeps browser time, proxy traffic, Search, Fetch, Extract, and Agent usage in separate allowances or meters. Keep-alive sessions continue billing until explicitly released or timed out. Browser Use has a four-hour paid-session ceiling and adds proxy, initialization, step, or model-token usage. Anchor Browser offers either completed-task credits or additive infrastructure meters. Session length, release behavior, and which adjacent APIs are used decide the real comparison. Who should stay with Browserbase
Stay when the same application genuinely uses browser sessions together with Search, Fetch, Extract, Agent runs, and proxy traffic, and the separate allowances make that usage auditable. Staying also makes sense when six-hour sessions, the published plan concurrency, and the plan’s data-retention window fit. Those platform features are outside a browser-hour ranking and can outweigh a difference in the isolated time component. What the alternatives do not replace
Browser Use does not inherit Browserbase’s Search, Fetch, Extract, and retention contract, and its published session ceiling is shorter. Anchor’s completed-task route does not preserve Browserbase’s separate product allowances, while Anchor’s infrastructure route introduces its own creation, proxy, and AI-step meters. The table therefore answers only the browser-time question. Before switching, test session cleanup, long-session requirements, proxy bytes, adjacent API calls, concurrency, and retained debugging data as separate acceptance criteria.
