The boundary
For basic requests, ScraperAPI is cheaper through 100,000 requests a month, ZenRows is cheaper from 100,001 through 1 million, and ScraperAPI is cheaper again from 1,000,001 through 5 million. ZenRows then takes the lower plan from 5,000,001 through 6.2 million, ScraperAPI from 6,200,001 through 10.5 million, ZenRows from 10,500,001 through 12.5 million, and ScraperAPI from 12,500,001 through its last published allowance of 21.5 million. The basic-request bands cannot be reused for rendered work. ScraperAPI’s published JavaScript meter is ten credits per request, while ZenRows publishes five. Premium access is ten credits in both reviewed tables, but ScraperAPI publishes thirty credits for stealth and ZenRows publishes twenty-five for protected results. A workload concentrated in JavaScript or protected pages reaches each plan step at a different URL count and can change which sequence of bands matters. Billing models side by side
ScraperAPI sells monthly API credits through six published paid tiers. Basic requests use one credit, while Amazon, Google, Bing, LinkedIn, premium proxy, JavaScript, screenshots, stealth, and protected handling have larger published costs. Only HTTP 200 and 404 responses are normally charged, with a documented early-cancellation exception. Who should pick which
Pick the vendor whose current plan step covers the forecast with the lower cash floor, using the bands above only for genuinely basic requests.
