The boundary
For the minimum upfront cash needed to provision one successful-search forecast, SearchApi.io is lower through 10,000 searches: its Developer plan costs $40, while Serper’s smallest paid top-up costs $50. Serper is lower from 10,001 through 50,000 because that same $50 pack still covers the workload while SearchApi.io moves to a $100 or $250 plan. This is a funding boundary, not an assertion that a Serper pack is a monthly expense. SearchApi.io subscriptions renew monthly, while Serper sells prepaid credits that remain valid for six months. A Serper purchase can cover more than one month if the volume forecast leaves credit unused, but unused credit expires after six months. The comparison therefore asks how much cash must be committed to hold enough published allowance for the stated forecast, without inventing an amortization schedule.
