Basic: the cheapest way to buy this volume, not just the first plan big enough.

Bars share one linear scale across the 3 counted stages, so a multiplier shows as length. Units differ by stage and are labelled. Cash is not on that scale.

100,000 standard searches → 100,000 results → Basic $100.00/mo = $1.00 per 1,000 searches

The arithmetic, line by line
  1. standard searches: $0.0009 per result on Basic source
  2. consumes 100,000 results per month
  3. cheapest way to buy that: Basic, $100.00 fixed fee within the published result allowances; no overage is published = $100.00 per month source

What Oxylabs SERP Scraper API does not publish

What Oxylabs SERP Scraper API is

Oxylabs SERP Scraper API is now part of Oxylabs’ Web API, sold on the same subscription as its general scraper. It retrieves search-engine results without requiring the buyer to operate proxies and parsers, for rank tracking, search monitoring, and other SERP data pipelines. Bright Data SERP API, SerpApi, and SearchApi are the nearest named competitors. Oxylabs is distinguished commercially by successful-result billing with a separate Google rate on each subscription tier. How billing works

One unit is one successful result, and the target sets the rate. On the $30 Starter subscription Google results cost $1.00 per 1,000 without JavaScript and $1.35 with it; Basic ($100) lowers them to $0.90 and $1.30, Flexible ($500) to $0.70 and $1.15, and Enterprise plans, from $2,500 a month, to $0.50 and $0.90. Google AI Mode results cost $1.50 per 1,000 on the three self-serve tiers. Source: Oxylabs pricing, checked Oct 9, 2026.

Oxylabs’ billing guide defined successful results to include target responses in both the success and client-error HTTP classes, while system-side server and provider error classes were not billed. The common buying mistake is to equate billable success with a useful success response. A target-side not-found or access response can still fall inside the billable definition, so request quality and target status must be monitored separately from provider delivery. What Oxylabs does not publish clearly

  • What happens when a month’s usage passes the subscription’s capacity: the pricing page gives no overage rate or top-up rule (Oxylabs pricing, Oct 9, 2026).
  • A trial beyond the $5 welcome credit, and whether unused capacity rolls into the next month (Oxylabs pricing, Oct 9, 2026).
  • Customer-side caching, retention, redistribution, and attribution rules on the pricing and billing pages. Sources reviewed: Oxylabs pricing, checked Oct 9, 2026, and billing guide, checked Jul 26, 2026.

Who it suits

Oxylabs SERP Scraper API suits teams that need managed SERP delivery at volume and can budget by successful Google results. It is less suitable for a buyer who assumes only useful search pages are billable, or who needs every data-retention and redistribution term on the public rate card. The reason is that the provider-side success definition includes some target-side client errors, while several procurement details remain outside the public pages.
