How hard to scrape: Moderate, with country restrictions in the way; JavaScript rendering not needed.

Target access and billing context

Access

Moderate No JavaScript rendering required, so the base meter applies.
JavaScript requiredno

Easy means no protection is recorded; moderate, rate limits or fingerprinting without CAPTCHAs; hard, CAPTCHAs and IP checks that usually call for residential proxies; very hard, all of that plus measures such as TLS fingerprinting, a login wall in front of most data or honeypot links.

Protections in the way

Terms

Microsoft's Services Agreement bans circumventing access restrictions, naming 'impermissible scraping', and says Bing materials are for noncommercial, personal use only; bing.com/robots.txt disallows /search for all user agents.

The target's own terms

What you scrape moves the bill more than who you buy from. A target that forces JavaScript rendering or a residential exit multiplies the meter before any plan is chosen.

Every way to get Bing data

The APIs in the table above are the ones that publish a Bing rate; no other API documents an endpoint built for Bing.

Bing's own API: Microsoft retired the Bing Search APIs on August 11, 2025, and points customers to Grounding with Bing Search in Azure AI Agents, which does not hand over raw results. Bing's own page, read Oct 11, 2026.

Microsoft’s own API is gone

Microsoft retired the Bing Search APIs on August 11, 2025, and points customers to Grounding with Bing Search in Azure AI Agents (retirement notice, read Oct 11, 2026). That service feeds an AI agent and does not hand over the results: “Developers and end users don’t have access to raw content returned from Grounding with Bing Search” (Microsoft Learn, read Oct 11, 2026). For a list of Bing results, the APIs in the table are what is left.

What volume means for Bing

One call returns one results page for one query, market and language. Rank tracking for 1,000 keywords in two markets, checked daily, is 60,000 calls a month for the first page.

Evidence to check before buying

  • Microsoft’s Services Agreement says Bing materials are for noncommercial, personal use only, and bing.com/robots.txt disallows /search (Services Agreement and robots.txt, read Oct 11, 2026).
  • Results vary with the market and language you set, so state both on every call.
