About this price and its sources
ScrapeBadger bills scraping in credits, 2 for a plain page and 6 with a browser on its default proxy, from monthly plans or pay-as-you-go credits that never expire.

Cash per month
$49.00 /mo
Starter: the cheapest way to buy this volume, not just the first plan big enough.
Bars share one linear scale across the 3 counted stages, so a multiplier shows as length. Units differ by stage and are labelled. Cash is not on that scale.
100,000 pages divided by 95% success → 600,000 credits → Starter $49.00/mo = $0.49 per 1,000 pages kept
What makes it cost more
One page is not always one billed unit. These are ScrapeBadger's published charges for each kind of work; failed requests are not billed.
| Work | Costs | Per | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| A standard page | 2 credits | request | source |
| JavaScript rendering | 6 credits | request | source |
| Residential proxies | 9 credits | request | source |
| AI extraction | 10 credits | request | source |
| Google pages | 7 credits | request | source |
| JavaScript rendering with residential proxies | 13 credits | request | source |
Limits and terms
What ScrapeBadger publishes beyond the price: the limits a job runs into and the terms that change what a plan is worth. Each line links the page it comes from and the day it was read.
Speed, concurrency and sessions
- Rate limits per plan from the plan table: PAYG 60 requests per minute, Starter and Growth 300, Pro and Scale 1,000. source
Credits, renewal and billing
- PAYG credits never expire; subscription credits refresh at the start of each billing period and unused ones do not carry over unless rollover is enabled on the plan. source
- Upgrades take effect immediately and restart the billing cycle; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no lock-in contracts. source
- Subscriptions are paid via Stripe; PAYG top-ups can be paid via Stripe or crypto (CoinGate). source
Other terms
- All purchases are final and non-refundable as a general rule, with discretionary refunds for accidental purchases within 7 days with no credits used, verified outages over 48 hours, or goodwill. source
- Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn are out of scope for /v1/web/scrape; dedicated source APIs exist for other social and marketplace data. source
What ScrapeBadger does not publish
- A yearly price or discount: the pages say plans are monthly or annual but print only monthly prices.
- What a plan charges past its allowance.
- One price for a browser page: the credit table lists the browser at 5 credits with no proxy surcharge, while the scrape reference adds a proxy charge on every request and prices AI extraction at +10, not +2; the reference's figures are used here.
- Whether the anti-bot solver costs 5 credits more or is included in the browser rate; the two pages disagree.
- One price for a Google search: the SERP page shows 7 credits, the Google API page says 1 to 3.
- One price for X (Twitter) calls: 1 credit plus 1 per item returned on one page, 1 credit per call on another.
- Concurrency per plan; the rate limits per minute differ between the plan table and the documentation.
What ScrapeBadger is
ScrapeBadger is a scraping API: a general endpoint that fetches any page, with a browser when it needs one, plus dedicated APIs for Google, X (Twitter), Amazon and other sources that return structured JSON.
How billing works
A scrape costs an engine rate plus a proxy surcharge on every request. With the default datacenter proxy, a plain page costs 2 credits and a page rendered in a browser 6; with premium residential proxies they cost 9 and 13. AI extraction adds 10 credits. Screenshots and browser scripts add nothing. Credits come from a monthly plan, from $49 for 600,000 to $699 for 13 million, or from pay-as-you-go top-ups at $0.15 per 1,000 that never expire. Failed requests, blocks and timeouts are not charged, retries are free, and an identical request repeated within a minute comes from the cache at no charge.
Before you buy
ScrapeBadger’s own pages disagree on part of the price: the documentation’s credit table lists the browser at 5 credits with no proxy surcharge, while the scrape reference adds the proxy charge used here. Run a small batch and check the credits deducted before committing to a plan. Purchases are generally non-refundable, and overage above a plan’s allowance is not published.
Who it suits
ScrapeBadger suits developers who want one key for general pages and a few structured sources, and teams with uneven volume, since pay-as-you-go credits do not expire. The calculator sets its bill for your volume against every other scraping API.
