Who should stay with TinyFish

Stay when your searches fit inside the published limits. Search allows 30 requests a minute and 500 an hour, and Fetch allows 150 URLs a minute and 1,000 URLs a day; neither draws from the wallet, so they keep working at a $0 balance. Spread evenly, 500 searches an hour is at most 12,000 a day. An account and an API key are still required. (TinyFish pricing, checked 2026-10-08.)

The same account sells a browser at $0.002 per browser minute, which is $0.12 an hour, drawn from a prepaid wallet with no plan fee and no monthly minimum, and new accounts start with $8 of wallet funds. If you also drive a browser, that is a cheap pairing to keep. (TinyFish pricing, checked 2026-10-08.)

What a switch does not automatically replace

A paid search API lifts the rate ceiling but bills every search, so the question is what your volume costs on each, which the table above answers. TinyFish’s Agent API, billed per step, and its browser are separate products: a search-only alternative replaces neither. (TinyFish pricing, checked 2026-10-08.)
