BigData: the cheapest way to buy this volume, not just the first plan big enough.

Bars share one linear scale across the 3 counted stages, so a multiplier shows as length. Units differ by stage and are labelled. Cash is not on that scale.

100,000 standard searches → 100,000 requests → BigData $250.00/mo = $2.50 per 1,000 searches

The arithmetic, line by line
  1. standard searches: 1 request per search source
  2. consumes 100,000 requests per month
  3. cheapest way to buy that: BigData, 100,000 included = $250.00 per month source

Limits and terms

What SearchApi.io publishes beyond the price: the limits a job runs into and the terms that change what a plan is worth. Each line links the page it comes from and the day it was read.

Speed, concurrency and sessions

  • The hourly rate limit is up to 20 percent of the plan's monthly searches. source, read Jul 26, 2026

What you may do with the results, and how long they are kept

  • Users may not resell or redistribute the service without written consent. source, read Jul 26, 2026
  • Users must not remove copyright, trademark, source attribution, or other proprietary notices from data. source, read Jul 26, 2026
  • Zero retention is an enterprise-only option; standard cached search HTML and JSON follow SearchApi's retention schedule. source, read Jul 26, 2026

What SearchApi.io does not publish

What SearchApi.io is

SearchApi.io returns structured results from Google and other search result types through an API, with parameters for the engine and search context. It is for developers building rank tracking, market research, search monitoring, and other applications that need result data rather than rendered webpages. SerpApi, Zenserp, and Scale SERP are its three nearest named competitors. SearchApi.io is distinguished here by a simple successful-response meter, a plan-level hourly allowance rule, and an enterprise option for zero retention. Sources: SearchApi.io, SearchApi.io pricing, SerpApi, Zenserp, and Scale SERP, checked Jul 26, 2026.

How billing works

One unit is one search request that returns HTTP 200. It consumes one request from the selected monthly allowance. Failed requests do not consume that allowance, and the number of individual results inside the response is not presented as a separate billing multiplier. The published capacity control is hourly: usage within an hour can reach a stated fraction of the plan’s monthly searches. The most common buyer mistake is therefore to read the monthly allowance as unrestricted burst capacity. A monthly plan can be large enough in total while still being too small for a concentrated hourly job. Source: SearchApi.io pricing, checked Jul 26, 2026.

The service also advertises an additional plan option, but the loaded public pricing text does not expose its charge. Standard cached HTML and JSON follow the vendor’s retention schedule, while zero retention is described as an enterprise option. Sources: SearchApi.io pricing and Search Analytics API documentation, checked Jul 26, 2026.

What SearchApi.io does not publish clearly

  • The price and exact entitlement of that additional plan option are not exposed in the reviewed public pricing text (SearchApi.io pricing, Jul 26, 2026).
  • The exact standard cache-retention duration is not stated on the reviewed analytics documentation page (Search Analytics API documentation, Jul 26, 2026).
  • The pricing page does not say whether unused monthly requests roll over (SearchApi.io pricing, Jul 26, 2026).
  • Redistribution needs a contract check because the public terms restrict resale or redistribution without written consent and require preservation of proprietary notices. Source: SearchApi.io terms, checked Jul 26, 2026.

Who it suits

SearchApi.io suits teams that can forecast successful searches by month and hour and want a direct SERP response meter. It is less suitable for burst-heavy workloads that cannot fit the hourly allowance, or for products that redistribute search data without first obtaining written consent. Buyers with strict retention requirements should also confirm the enterprise terms before procurement.
